Fix My Axe is a free, publicly accessible directory of musical instrument repair shops and technicians in the United States. You may use the Site to search for repair professionals, read and submit reviews, and access educational resources about instrument care and repair.

Listings on Fix My Axe are compiled from publicly available sources and user submissions. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy, but we do not guarantee that any listing is complete, current, or error-free. Listings may include businesses that have closed, changed ownership, or changed contact information since the listing was added.
By submitting a review, listing suggestion, or other content to the Site, you grant Fix My Axe a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide license to display, reproduce, and distribute that content on the Site and in promotional materials.

We reserve the right to remove any user-submitted content at our sole discretion, including content that violates these Terms or our community standards.
Shop owners and repair technicians may claim their listing for a monthly subscription fee of $9.99. Subscriptions are processed through Stripe and are subject to Stripe's Terms of Service. Subscriptions automatically renew monthly until cancelled. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at [email protected].
Refunds for subscription fees are handled on a case-by-case basis. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months.
The Fix My Axe name, logo, site design, and original content (including blog articles and editorial text) are the intellectual property of Fix My Axe and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without written permission. Individual listing data (business names, addresses, phone numbers) is factual information not subject to copyright protection.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Fix My Axe and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site or any listed business, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Site shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $10.00, whichever is greater.
The Site may contain links to third-party websites and display advertisements served by Google AdSense and other advertising networks. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or accuracy of any third-party website. The display of an advertisement does not constitute an endorsement of the advertiser or its products or services.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Site. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
